Forever homes

My babies are 8 weeks old today and ready to go to their forever homes. I was going to keep the one with the white patches but maybe I should let them all go.

6 Mini Lop Babies for Sale £30 each

6 gorgeous mini lops available beginning of August. Bred from blue buck & harlequin doe (parents available to see) they are gentle, friendly and love a cuddle so would make great pets. Will come with a small amount of changeover food (to avoid an upset tummy) and I am available on email for any advice needed.

You are more than welcome to contact me to arrange a viewing, a £5 deposit is required . We are in Guildford.

Rabbits like company so if you would like two, I'd be happy to let them go for £50.

It is important to me that they go to a good home with lots of attention & care.
Disclaimer - Rabbit sex cannot be guaranteed but they will have been checked twice by a trained vet prior to sale.

They have opened their eyes :-)

My little cuties have opened their eyes today, one or two of them are still only half open but one baby in particular had a good adventure around the hutch and even ventured down the ramp! while the other 5 just remained in their nest. Rosies nest has been removed now & replaced with shredded tissue paper to help prevent eye infections, here is a photo of them before the nest was removed:

A bit of a shock!

I have now sold my 4 kits previously mentioned and was very sad to say goodbye knowing that Sweep was neutered at the beginning of May, so imagine my shock when I opened up Rosy's nest box to find a furry nest moving! I don't know if the op didn't work or I put Sweep with Rosy too soon afterwards (I stuck to the vets recommendation) but the result is 6 wriggling babies! :-)  Of course as well as being shocked, I was excited, but also felt very guilty, poor Rosy - another litter so soon after the last, but I spoke to the vet and she reassured me that in the wild rabbits are having babies all the time, it was an accident and Rosy is fine so not to beat myself up about it.

Bunny Houses

It is important to provide your pet rabbit with plenty of room to move around in his hutch. I also like to let my rabbits out everyday for a number of hours so that they can stretch their legs and do what rabbits love to do, jump, binky & run. That way they also get to nibble on the fresh grass and socialise with their bunny friends (if you have other pets). Obviously though, be very aware of preditors, you may think your bunnies are safe with a six foot fence around your garden but foxes can jump that and there is also a slight risk that your young bun could be carried away by a bird of prey.

Here are some hutches that I consider to be ideal:

This one above is what my rabbits have (one each), it has a nesting box for them to sleep in, a sheltered bit for them to keep away from the wind. It also allows them access to grass while shut in and freedom to stretch out and hop about while you are not around.

This hutch is available here, they also have some super hutches such as these:
